I was so excited to finally get to the gym yesterday! But too busy to write about it until today. I guess there’s not really that much to write about. I used the elliptical for a half hour and it was kinda hard. I took 8 days off from working out. The last time I took that much time off was after giving birth.
The last time I sprained my ankle in August 2010, I took 7 days off and started running again on day 8. Unfortunately I won’t be running anytime real soon. As I write this, my ankle is sore just sitting here and the swelling still isn’t completely gone. I have a spot on the inside of my ankle near my achilles that hurts and hasn’t improved much since the initial injury. I’ve been contemplating going back to body pump, maybe even tonight. But considering how my ankle has ached today, I think that needs to wait until the weekend at least. This is so frustrating.
