Only in Vegas could we go so many places in such a small area! Thursday afternoon, we headed to the Venetian first for a gondola ride.
It was a fun start to the Vegas sight seeing! The gondoliers told us a little about Venice and even sang!
They have indoor and outdoor gondolas, but the indoor ride was closed for improvements. The only thing I didn’t really like about the outdoor was that it was so short and around a small area. But it was still pretty cool!
After the gondola, we checked out the inside.
And look what we saw when we looked up!
That wasn’t the best part though. This was:
We walked in here and thought we were outside… but we were inside, where they painted the ceiling to look like we were outside in Venice! The indoor gondolas went through the center.
We couldn’t stop looking up. If I hadn’t told you, would you think these pictures were outside?
A few more of the Venetian…
We walked around without paying much attention to where we were going, though I did think we were going the direction we had come. In fact, we weren’t and we ended up in the Palazzo, which was just as amazing as the Venetian.
They had some beautiful fountains too.
